HANEDA AIRPORT(Travel Tips)

Airport always makes me excited.

Is airport just place where take airplane? No, no no. I have visited more than 20 cities, and still  both Haneda and Narita airport are one of my favorite airport. (This is not because I am Japanese!)

This is not "How to get sim card at haneda airport", "What is the best way to down town from Narita airport", "Haneda airport has free wifi?". I share what I did when I visieted Haneda airport for my weekend short travel to Shanghai. (They have free wifi but not strong. Reccomend to get visitor sim card.)(Shanghai was amaaaaaizing. I WILL visit there again soon.)

Of course I hope this blog help you one day when you come to tokyo, but  also wanna share what Japanese airport have.

We took a train from Tokyo station at 8pm after working on Friday. TGIF! We arrived there at 9pm, and airplane leave 2am.  We still have 5hours. Tihs was SHORT trip, so we must enjoy from at that moment.

≪SOUVENIR≫

This is a capsel toy vending machine. It is called "gatya-gatya". Most article in English explain it as "gatyapon". I understood, but never heard it. We say it gatya-gatya. It costs about $3. There is a wide variety of goods, and most commonly small figure doll. It is very cool souvenir. In addition, we can use your coins before going back to your country. Gatya-gatya locate at many places, but there are much more than at another place.

They have some store which sell traditional goods. Even if you miss buy them at downtown, they are waiting you.

≪HUNGRY≫

Haneda airport has many delicious restaurant. They open till 10pm(some of them 11pm). Not only RESTAURANT, also kind of food court. However, we wanted to spend money at Shanghai...Yes instant ramen. It was cold outside, but view was beautiful.

≪THIRSTY≫

Reason why we got there earlier, this. Thank you:)

≪KILLING TIME≫

Flight Simulation
The price is just $2. I wanted to try it, but it already closed...They close at 10PM. Be careful.

Wishing in Japanese traditional way
We call it "Ema". Go to Wikipedia about EMA

They sell ema in the vending machine, and we hang on there. You can experience Japan at end of your travel.(Or beginning?)
